The short version

Up to $500 in free pre-approved energy- and water-saving equipment for Colorado organizations.

The CGBN Pre-Approved Equipment Grant gives Colorado businesses, nonprofits, schools, and local governments up to $500 in energy- and water-saving equipment selected from a pre-approved catalog. Equipment and shipping are covered; recipients coordinate installation. The grant is first-come, first-served and runs from August 1 through May 1 each year.

Complete the form while funds are available. CGBN will confirm the order.

Recipients coordinate installation within one month of receiving equipment and submit installation photos.

Apply early in the cycle—this is first-come, first-served and the $500 cap resets annually, so you can come back every year for additional hardware.

Deadline & timing

2026-2027 cycle runs August 1, 2026 to May 1, 2027. If the ordering link is still open, applications are still being accepted. Eligible organizations can reapply every year.
