The NGLCC Community Impact Grant Program provides $5,000–$25,000 grants to LGBTQ+-owned and LGBTQ+ ally-owned restaurants, bars, cafés, and food service businesses. How to apply
-
1
Monitor NGLCC for application launch
Visit nglcc.org/ghgrant or email nglccgrants@nglcc.org to receive notification when the annual application window opens. Applications are not available year-round — there is a specific launch date each cycle.
-
2
Confirm eligibility
Verify your food service establishment is LGBTQ+-owned or ally-owned, has not received 2+ prior Community Impact Grants, and is currently operating in the US.
-
3
Complete application with documentation
Fill out the online application including: business information, description of LGBTQ+ ownership or ally status, current financial situation, and detailed plan for use of grant funds (equipment, staffing, marketing, infrastructure, etc.).
-
4
Await review and award notification
NGLCC and Grubhub review applications and notify recipients. Award decisions typically announced within 60–90 days of application close.
NGLCC certification is NOT required — ally-owned establishments qualify, which dramatically expands the eligible pool. The 2-prior-grant ineligibility cap creates space for newer applicants. Apply in the first week — program historically oversubscribes.
Deadline & timing
Applications are not perpetually open. The program runs annual cycles. 2025 applications had not launched as of May 2026 — contact NGLCC at nglccgrants@nglcc.org for updates. Businesses that have received 2 or more prior Community Impact Grants in previous years are ineligible for future cycles.
