Summer internships yield double the subsidy ($8,640) vs. Spring/Fall ($4,320) — plan your intern hiring calendar to maximize reimbursement. Summer placements fill up fastest; register in March. The construction/installation track has year-round rolling enrollment ($8,640 per intern) and is less competitive for smaller contractors.
Deadline & timing
Internship sessions are time-bound — employers must register before each session deadline to have interns placed. Summer session is the largest and most competitive for intern supply. Register early to get your preferred session and intern profiles reviewed.
